In 1887, Arthur Stevens, 11 (along with sister, Rose Ellen Stevens, 9, and brothers, Walter Stevens, 6, Frank Stevens, 12, and Christopher Stevens, 7), arrived in Canada in a group of 28 Middlemore children en route to the Guthrie Home, London, Ontario, Canada.
