A death registration was found for Ellen Stevens: Year of Registration: 1883; Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep; Age at Death: 34; District: Bradfield; County: Berkshire; Volume: 2c; Page: 183.

In 1887, Arthur Stevens, 11 (along with sister, Rose Ellen Stevens, 9, and brothers, Walter Stevens, 6, Frank Stevens, 12, and Christopher Stevens, 7), arrived in Canada in a group of 28 Middlemore children en route to the Guthrie Home, London, Ontario, Canada.

On January 18, 1905, at Grey, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Arthur Stevens, 28, farmer, born in England to Edward Stevens and Helen Lewis; and Martha Isabelle McFarlane, 20, born at St. Vincent, Ontario, Canada, to Charles McFarlane and Isabella Deegan.

Arthur and Martha Isabelle (Belle) Mcfarlane Stevens had 4 children: Margaret Stevens; Bess Stevens; Arthur Stevens; and Charles Stevens.

Arthur Ernest Stevens died on November 10, 1965. Martha Isabelle McFarlane Stevens died April 21, 1978. They are buried in Plot #100, Davidson Cemetery [R.M. of Willner #253 NW 25-26-1 W3], Saskatchewan, Canada.
