They were leaving behind sister Mabel (born 1893); brother Arthur (born 1905) and half-sister Gertrude (born 1908). Arthur emigrated to Australia in 1923 and Gilbert married and moved to Scotland after WWI.

In 1911, Albert Stanley, 9, is shown as a boarder with Nelson Dennis and family in Dunn, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth is shown as September 1902 and his immigration year as 1910. (Albert is residing at the same farm as his brother, Gilbert Stanley, 10.)
