Age 14, good home, employed at light farm work, a healthy lad, attends Church of England, not school-a fair scholar, character-inclined to be obstinate, but Mr Burton would not say that is a bad boy. Terms-$2 per month, board and lodging. Mr Burton states that the lad is doing better, and he is satisfied to keep him, he had no complaints to make. Cartwright says that he is well treated, likes his work, and is happy and contented

Age 15, suitable home, employed at general chores, healthy, attends Church of England, good character,
Terms-$30 per year and board. This boy says he is well satisfied here and is kindly treated. His employer says he has done fairly well since my last visit. He is rather under-sized for his age. In my opinion he should receive a higher rate of wages
