May 23 1900
Age 14, good home, employed at light house work, very healthy girl, attends Church of England, fair scholar, character satisfactory but inclined to be bad tempered. Terms-Wages $2.50 per month. Mrs Cann says she has greatly improved since coming here, and that she gives good satisfaction now. She is a neat and tidy girl. Rose Harper likes her place and work; they treat her as one of the family, and are very kind to her. She is happy and contented and had no complaints to make.
