Thomas Wilkie Adam married Elsie Sarah Louise Cox about 1920. They had at least 2 children: Thomas Wilkie Adam, born 1921. (Pilot Officer Thomas Wilkie Adam, Royal Canadian Air Force, died in action on June 16, 1943, and was buried in Banbury Cemetery, Oxfordshire, England (Grave #11642)); and Edward James Adam, born March 30, 1924.

Thomas Wilkie Adam died on June 28, 1924, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, after undergoing surgery. He is buried in Mountainview cemetery, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
