In 1892, Annie Addison, 12 (along with sister, Emily Addison, 12) arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 127 Barnardo girls en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Annie was photographed at the October 1892 Barnardo's party at Prince Albert with a Mr. John Jeffrey. She stated that she had a sister in Canada with Mr. Jeffrey, Sr. (Ups and Downs, Toronto, May 1, 1896, Vol. 1, No. 10.)
