Notes[POSSIBLE MATCH] A birth registration was found for James Henry Beatey: Year of Registration: 1873; Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun; District: Steyning; County: Sussex; Volume: 2b; Page: 251. Records from Marchmont, who list him as Henry Wellesley Beattie, (received from Barnardo's) state that he was born in Sussex, his father a gentleman and mother a servant.
