NotesAmelia's father, Featherstone, died in 1908 of scarlet fever. She and her brother and sister were sent to Canada by their mother, Mary, through the sending agencies. Amelia was the last to arrive. Amelia did marry, but had no children. Amelia, also known as Millie, died at a young age of breast cancer.
