On December 14 1915, Peter John Burge born August 6 1896 Devonport enlisted in Canadian Army, he gave his next of kin as
Brother-Frank Burge, Woodbridge, Ontario, and that he stated that he resided in Honeywood, Ontario and was a farmer

On December 30 1918, Peter John Burge arrived back in Canada on with an Army party on SS Carmania, he intended to go to Shelbourne

He is buried in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton, Wentworth along with a Martha Burge who may be his wife
