"While visiting friends at 105 Roslin Avenue Saturday night, Alexander Cavanaugh, aged 38 years, of 96 Pembrok Street, collapsed and died. Chief Coroner Dr. M M Crawford examined the body, and found death was due to a hemorrhage."

It was stated that Alexander was a returned soldier from WW1 and that he had suffered failing health ever since.

Alex had come to Canada along with his brother Robert. They also had a sister Katherine living in the United States. I have a letter which was written by Katherine to Alex.
