Notes residing with Mrs E Etty, P.O Raymond, Lot 23, Con 13, Watt Twp, Muskoka District, Ontario
September 7 1900
About 9 years of age, splendid home, practically no work to do regularly, does odd light chores, very healthy boy, attends Presbyterian church and Public school, character good, terms-is boarded here by Dr Barnardo. He is in a good home, and I should judge, carefully looked after. He attends school regularly, and is making good progress. I am of the opinion he is advantageously placed.

Age 14, this boy has been boarded with Mrs Etty, an estimable person, living at Raymond, Muskoka, Ontario, ever since his arrival in Canada. He is now 14 years of age and a fine lad. He attended school regularly since his arrival (1899) and has made good progress. After remaining a short time at 214 Farley Ave, where I found him at this date, he will be placed in a carefully selected situation - a very healthy boy.
