June 8 1900

Age 13, good home, employed at chores about the farm, excellent health, attends Presbyterian Church and Sunday school, Public School during winter months, character-disposition at times obstinate otherwise good. Terms-Wages $75 for three years. A bright looking lad; appears to be very much interested in the farm; is happy and contented. He is well treated by Mr and Mrs Huggins and had no complaints to offer. Mr Huggins says that notwithstanding his obstinancy he would not like to part with him. He has always found him a truthful boy, and kind with the children. He is improving. Mr Huggins thinks that they gave him his own way too often at first
