NotesIn 1899, George Conway, 8, arrived in Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 94 boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Sent by Edmonton Union, with Robert McGee, dairyman, Mosgrove, Carleton, Ontario

November 28 1900

Age 12, highly satisfactory home, employed at usual chores about the house and barns, health good, a growing lad, attends Methodist Church, and school in winter, character-reliable and honest. Terms-Clothing and $100 for 5 years. This boy is well placed and in every way comfortable. His employer is a large farmer. I have every reason to believe that he is well cared for. He certainly ought to do well here.
