NotesIn 1884, Bertha Craddock, 10 (along with sister, Carrie Craddock, 8), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 8 children, accompanied by Miss Billborough.

Bertha Craddock, aged 12, from Tewkesbury Union, placed with John Post, Round Lake P.O. Was first placed with J. Allen at Rush Point, with whom she stayed six months, but not suiting, was placed with Mr. Post, where she has an excellent home and is greatly liked. She attends school and is treated the same as their own."
