NotesIn 1884, Carrie Craddock, 8 (along with sisters, Sarah Craddock, 6, and Bertha Craddock, 10), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 8 children, accompanied by Miss Billborough.

"Sixteenth Annual Report of the Local Government Board, 1886-87; Copy of Reports of Inspection of Children sent out to Canada, as of February 12, 1887.

Report of Mr. J. A. Donaldson, Government Immigration Agent, at Toronto, Ontario.

Caroline Craddock, aged 9, from Tewkesbury Union, placed with Mrs. Wilson, Prenevean P.O. Sister of above [EDITORS NOTE: Bertha Craddock], adopted, and has a very good home; attends school regularly. No particular fault to find with the child."

On October 6, 1898, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Caroline Craddock, 23, born in England, to Charles and Elizabeth Craddock; and James Barnhardt, 25, railwayman, born in Hogansburg, New York, USA, to David Barnhardt and Susan Bay.
