June 7 1900
Age 11, satisfactory home, employed at light chores about the farm, very healthy lad. Attends Methodist church and Public School regularly. No fault to find with her character (it should probably say his). Terms-Board and Clothes and $100 at expiration of 5 years. Mr Greenwood spoke very nicely of the lad, and had no complaints and expressed himself as generally well pleased with Ferris, says he is a well behaved and obedient lad. Ferris says that Mr and Mrs Greenwood treat him well, that he is contented and happy, and would not care to leave.
