In 1911, Harry Hockham's mother, Hannah Hockham, widow, was residing alone at 56 Lansdown Road Forest Gate, West Ham, Essex, England, and was employed doing housework. His brother, George Hockham, was working as a houseboy for Charles Dixon in Gunthorpe Oakham, Rutland, England.
In 1915, Harry's brother, George Frederick Hockham, joined the British Armed Forces to serve during World War I. His mother, Hannah Hockham, was shown as residing at 56 Lansdowne Road, Forest Gate, West Ham, Essex, England. On August 9, 1916, he was wounded and died on the same day. He is buried in Ferme-Olivier Cemetery in Belgium.
