NotesIn 1887, David Jordan, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 77 children from London Union accompanied by Cardinal Manning and en route to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Report of Mr. W. J. Wills, Government Immigration Agent at Ottawa.

Dd. Jordan, aged 17. From parish of St. Luke, Chelsea. Placed -with John Howe, Lot 2, Con. 1, N. Gower P.O., Co. Carleton, Ontario. Likes his place, is warmly clothed and in a very comfortable home."
