A death registration was found for Herbert Jordan: Estimated Birth Year: abt 1866; Year of Registration: 1895; Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar; Age at Death: 29; District: Battle; County: Sussex, East Sussex; Volume: 2b; Page: 51. (Lambeth Union, R.O.'s Spec. Report 4509)

Beatrice Jordan was admitted to Lambeth Workhouse on October 18, 1898, and transferred to Lambeth Union Schools on 19 Oct 1898.

Beatrice Jordan was admitted by order of the Lambeth Union board since her mother, Louisa Jordan, was going into Brompton Hospital for 6 months. Lily and Herbert Jordan were already in the school.

Louisa Jordan died September 30, 1899. Her older sister, Jessie, was residing at 46 Saltoun Road, Brixton.

Lily and Beatrice discharged to Barnardo Homes on May 28, 1902.

In 1902, Beatrice Jordan, 11 (along with sister, Lily Jordan, 10) arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 395 Barnardo children en route to Toronto and Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

In Barnardo's Ups & Downs, Liverpool Series Vol X - No2 Toronto May 1904, Pg. 70 - 77, it was reported that Lily and Beatrice Jordan were visited recently by Miss Gibbs. Both girls doing well. Both are in Welland County. Lily is with Mr and Mrs. McClive, not far from the big city of Buffalo.

On August 31, 1907, at Niagra Falls, Welland, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Beatrice Jordan, 18, born at Portsmouth, England, to Herbert Jordan and Louisa Giles; and [Charles] William Millward, 21, labourer, born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, to George Millward and Clara Dennis.

Charles William and Beatrice Maud Jordan Millward had at least 1 child: Anna Isabel Millward, born July 5, 1909, in Lincoln, Ontario, Canada.
