In 1905, George Anthony Kent (as written on the ships manifest), 12 (along with brother, Albert Henry Kent, 13) arrived at Quebec, Canada, with a group of 53 children from Fegan's Homes, 95 Southwark Street, London to 295 George Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and accompanied by F. G. Jarrett, aged 34.

[EDITORS NOTE: Jonathan Kent must have died between 1902-1904, though no death record has been found. This is substantiated by documentation that Annie Louse Kent is shown remarrying in 1906 in Soutwark, London, England, to Raphael Henry Spencer.]

On June 20, 1914, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between William A. Kent, 22, salesman, born in London, England, to Jonathan Kent and Annie Dickie; and Hazel Irene Wright, 21, born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, to Daniel Smith Wright and Josephine A. Lundy.

On June 4, 1917, William A. Kent, registered for the US Draft. He declared that he resided at 18 Lathrop, Detroit, Wayne Michigan; that he was born in London, England; that he had declared his intention to become a citizen of the United States; that he worked as a district manager for [illegible]; that he had served for 2 weeks as a private in the Canadian armed forces; that he claimed exemption to duty as his wife was wholly dependent upon him. He was described as tall, slender; blue eyes, light hair.

In 1920, William A. Kent, 27, auto parts sales agent, born in England, was shown residing at 18 Lathrop, Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, along with is wife, Hazel I. Kent, 27, born in Canada. Both immigrated to the United States in 1915. Anthony Kent, 38, auto equipment sales agent, born in England, was shown residing at Crambrook Road, Bloomfield Township, Oakland, Michigan, along with is wife, Hazel Irena Kent, 37, born in Canada; and a maid, Marie A.
