NotesWilliam Patterson was admitted to Lambeth Union Schools on April 11, 1895. His mother, Mary Ann Jones, died in Hospital. William was admitted on the application of Mrs Patterson who had kept the child since he was a fortnight old. His mother paid her 2/- a week until she died.

William was discharged to Dr Barnardo Homes on 1/8/1900

In 1900, William Patterson (incorrectly spelled as Pattison on LAC Index), 11, arrived in Quebec, Canada, with a group of 101 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
