Wilfred was first placed with Fred William Gubbins, Walkers, Metcalfe, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada.
A juvenile inspector reported [T-15425]:
PERRING, Wilfred, 12 . . . 1921 Barnardo's, 1922-25 in Middlesex Co with Fred Gubbins in Walkers; 1926-27 with John Campbell in Walkers. "Very satisfactory boy. No complaints."
