NotesIn 1921, Norman Sloan, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of Barnardo children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Norman was the son of George Sloan and Mary Weddel. Mary died in 1911 and George in 1915. He had a half brother Harry who was already married in England and a sister Sarah Mary as well as his brother George who was also sent to Canada.
