On 25 June 1897, Florence Emily Tatum was baptised at Saint Mary, Battersea, daughter of Edwin and Jessie Tatum, her siblings Herbert Alfred (born June 11 1897), Lilian Emma (born April 6 1890) and Edwin Arthur were also baptised, their address was given as 71 Latchmere Road, and fathers occupation as Engineer

Edwin, Florence and Herbert Tatum were turned over to the Camberwell Board of Guardians, who adopted them. The Guardians arranged immigration to Canada for Edwin Tatum through Fegan's Homes.

In 1909, Florence Tatum, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 17 children from Waifs & Strays en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. (Her brother, Edwin (Jack) Tatum, 14, arrived on the Empress of Britain in 1909 with Fegans.)

Family legend has it that Florence came to Canada to take care of Jack, who was not doing very well in his Fegan placement.

Florence became a midwife, working for Dr. Clerig(?).

On June 29, 1910, at Barrie, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Florence E. Tatum, 19, daughter of Arthur Tatum and Jessie Heitman; and Louis D'Angio, 24, section foreman, born Camigliano, Province of Canerta, Italy, son of Ganseppne D'Angio and Rosa Parisi.

Louis and Florence Emily Tatum D'Angio had 8 children: Joseph Arthur D'Angio, born 1911; Rose Florence D'Angio (1913 ? 1967); Mary Lilian D'Angio (1915 ? 1996); Margaret L. D'Angio (1916 ? 1984); R. D'Angio (1920 ? 2000); Jean Frances D'Angio (1922 ? 2001); Alfreda Mae D'Angio (1925 ? 2000; and Anne Irene D'Angio (1928 ? 1991).

Florence Emily Tatum died November 1, 1983, aged 90 years, at Alliston, Ontario, Canada. Louis D'Angio died June 4, 1965, at Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
