1901 English Census lists widowed Ephriam Warner on his own with children Alice (12) and James (10) in St. Phillip, Arlington Square, London, England. Ephriam is a News agent and Shopkeeper. There is no mention of younger brother Albert.

Attestation papers signed 23 Sep 1914 in Valcartier, Quebec. Albert Warner was born 4 Sep 1893 in London, England. His Next of Kin was his father, Mr. E. Warner of Stanway, Colchester, Essex, England. His occupation was listed as a labourer. He'd previously served 4 years with the 43 DCOR. 5'4 1/2" in height with blue eyes and fair hair, Albert had faint tattoos of crosses as identifying marks. Religion was marked as Church of England.
Commonwealth War Graves Registers states Albert was Killed in Action. His final resting place is unknown, his name is listed on the Vimy Memorial, Vimy, Nord Pas de Calais, France.
