NotesRobert Webster, 14, Came to Canada under the Church Emigration Society, placed with William Tyler

On the Tenth of January .... I proceeded to and inspected Robert Webster, placed about the last day June 1889 with William Tyler situated on ............ near Kouris River and south of Brandon. Webster states he is in good health and well pleased with Mr and Mrs Tyler and on no condition would he like to return to his old home again. His term being for one year, for his board and clothing, and anything more Mr Tyler might choose to give him at expiration of term. Through conversation with him and other appearances he seemed to be well pleased with his new home, and that Mr and Mrs Tyler were kind to him. Also Mr and Mrs Tyler state that they are satisfied with the boy and will do what they can for him
