NotesNellie was sent with her brother from Aston Union through Middlemore Home. They arrived in Halifax then were sent to separate residences in New Brunswick. Nellie was placed in numerous areas of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and finally was sent to Yarmouth where she met and married Robert Burrill, a barber.

Nellie died January 2, 1953, in Yarmouth Hospital aged 54 and was buried in Chebogue Cemetery.
