NotesAlexander (Alec) was placed at Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Western Australia. He was one of a party of 15 boys and 14 girls who went to Australia under the Fairbridge Farm scheme by the liner Strathnaver. 11 of them disembarked at Fremantle to go to the farm school at Pinjarra, with the remainder travelling on to Melbourne and Sydney (Source: NLA Trove Newspaper).

He arrived with his sister Ellen. He died aged 41 and is buried at Fremantle Cemetery (Roman Catholic area, MON C5/64).
