Maria's husband's name was John Malich Madrers. Malachi is a common error [in public family trees], though it is not on any public records [that I am aware of]. Maria and John's youngest two children were named Johanna Antonia [my great-great grandmother] and Pauline Louise. Maria married John at Holy Trinity Church in Hull. In 1866, she was employed as a domestic servant for Madam Reichmann, a teacher of music, who lived on George St in Hull. In March of that year, she went on trial for concealing the birth of a child. She was convicted (with two months' hard labour imposed).
