MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE OF A TAMWORTH TRADESMAN 'Considerable sensation was caused in Tamworth on Tuesday by the discovery that a pork butcher named Albert Broel, occupying a large and elaborately fitted shop in Tamworth had mysteriously disappeared. On Monday evening, Broel requested his assistants to sleep out that night as he had some friends coming to stay with him. ..... It has since transpired that during Monday night Broel booked to Stafford whilst his wife and little son proceeded in the opposite direction to Nuneaton. It is understood that Broel ultimately found his way to Victoria Station, London'
Wife Annie died in 1915 in a lunatic asylum.
