1906 The couple parted. Marie took out a summons against Charles for desertion and Charles accused Marie of drunkenness and adultery. Report 13 June 1913 in Glossop Dale Chronicle & North Derbyshire Reporter. In the 1921 Census Charles is boarding with Elizabeth HATRICK 70 and working for Frederick WIRTH at 57 Broad Street, Sheffield.
Probate - Charles died at Shire Hill View, Bute Street, Glossop with home address of 6 George Street. Granted to sun John Charles BURKHARD, electrical engineer and Wm Elkin PLATT, solicitor.
Buried at Glossop Cemetery.
