A death registration was found for Henrietta Machin: Date: Jan-Feb-Mar 1879; Age: 24; District: Wolstanton; County: Staffordshire; Volume: 6b; Page: 63.

In 1887, Rebecca Machin, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 18 Maria Rye children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, via Suspension Bridge.

"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Rebecca Machin, aged 11. From Wolstanton and Burslem Union. Placed with Henry H. Peers, Lot 17, Con. 5, E. Oxford, Vandecar P.O., Ontario.?Healthy; will be adopted; suits Mrs. P. well, who said she was a truthful and good girl, and been more than usually well trained at Burslem; a capital home; goes to church and Sunday school."

On September 5, 1908, at East Oxford Township, Oxford, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Rebecca Machin, 30, daughter of Charles and Henrietta Machin; and Uriah Wesley Christie, 33, dominion land surveyor, son of Robert Christie and Elizabeth Curtis.

Rebecca Machine Christie died at the age of 86 in 1962. Uriah Wesley Christie died on March 10, 1932, at the age of 59, of pneumonia, at Orangeville, Ontario, Canada.
