In 1901, Oliver Daw, 1 year of age, was shown residing at 22 Devonshire Place, Child Hill, Hendon, Middlesex, England. Other family members included: Frank Daw, 7; Alfred Daw, 4; Francis A. Francis Ambrose Daw, Sr., died at Childs Hill, Hendon, Middlesex, England, on March 17, 1902. Susan Tew Daw died at Childs Hill, Hendon, Middlesex, England, on January 29, 1903.

In 1906, Alfred Daw, 9 (along with siblings Henry [Harry Oliver] Daw, 7, and Francis Ambrose Daw, 10) arrived at Portland, Maine, USA, with a group of 188 children en route to Toronto, Canada.

In 1911, Henry Daw, 11, was shown as an adopted son to Silas S. and Elmy Bigford in Mountain, Dundas, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth is shown as June 1900 and no immigration year shown.

He declared that he was residing in Winchester, Ontario, Canada; that he was born in Southampton, England; that his next of kin was his sister, Louisa Daw, who resided in Southampton, England; that his date of birth was August 16 1899; that he was a farmer; and that he was not married. He was described as 5 foot 8 inches in height; fair complexion; brown eyes; dark brown hair. He was a member of the Methodist faith.

On October 13, 1920, in Winchester Springs, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Henry Oliver Daw, 21, farmer, born in England, son of John Daw (mother's name unknown by groom); and Bessie Mae Sayeau, 19, farm maid, born in Canada, daughter of John Sayeau and Synthia Service.

Harry and Bessie Daw had nine children: Son born stillborn in 1932; Carl; Denzil; Dorothy; Gordon; Ina; Marion; William; and Dwayne.

Bessie Sayeau Daw died on June 7, 1966, in Brockville, Leeds, Ontario, Canada. Henry Oliver Daw died in 1988 and was buried in Mainville, Ontario, Canada.
