A death registration was found for Elizabeth Anderson (married to James Anderson, Butcher's Salesman): Date: October 7, 1912, at 7:25 p.m. at Belvidere Hospital, Glasgow (usual residence 4 Doncaster Street); Age: 39 years; Cause: Septicemia; Acute Cellulite R. Arm; Whiltors L. Thumb; Childbirth 25 hours. [EDITORS NOTE: Family lore states that Elizabeth obtained the infection from her husband's butchers apron.]

A death registration was found for James Anderson, Butchers Assistant, Widower of Elizabeth Madeline Towers Bennie: Date: November 6, 1912, at 10:05 a.m.; Place: Western Informary, Glasgow (Residence 4 Doncaster Street); Cause: Pneumonia, 4 days. [EDITORS NOTE: Family lore states that James was so overcome with grief that he would not leave Elizabeth's grave and became ill while mourning there.]In 1914, Mary Anderson, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 64 Quarrier children en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada.
