NotesFather: Henry Charles Argent and Rosetta Foyle Terrington (widow of Robert Terrington), married 1876 at Southwark, Surrey, England. [EDITORS NOTE: Henry may have actually been the son of Robert Terrington who died in 1874.]

In 1883, Henry Argent, 12, arrived at Portland, Maine, USA, in a group of 60 Macpherson children.

On February 18, 1903, at Bayham, Elgin, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Henry C Argent, 30, farmer, born in England to Henry Argent and Rosetta Argent; and Catherine [Cornelia] Sivyer, 19, born in Oxford, Ontario, Canada, to Edward Sivyer and Charlotte Reff.

On July 24, 1937, Henry Charles Argent, stationary engineer, died at the age of 64 at 646 Francis, Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario, Canada, from bronchopneumonia and pernicious anemia. He was buried at Hillview Cemetery, Woodstock, Ontario, Canada.

Catherine Cornelia (Kate) Sivyer Argent died on July 4, 1957, at Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario, Canada.
