NotesIn 1922, James Bentley, 12 (with his brother, John Henry Bentley, 16), arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 48 Roman Catholic children en route to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

[EDITORS NOTE: The following is from a descendant] He and his brother, John Henry, were sent to Canada because their mother couldn't afford to feed them.

James went to the US and eventually went to live in Arizona because he had asthma.
