NotesSydney was sent to Canada by barnardos in march 1893. Sydney was placed with a William noble at
whitfield Ontario on arrival in march 1893. he moved on to Shelburne a year later to another employer and by 1896 he was in Corbetton calling himself John Mcdill. he was 16 years old.
I do not know if Sydney ever met up again with his 2 brothers.
