NotesParents: John Parle and Mary Taylor, married 1871 in West Derby, Lancashire, England.

In 1887, Frederick Parle, 5, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 129 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Report of Mr. R. Mcpherson, Government Immigration Agent at Kingston.

Fred Parle, aged 9. From Birkenhead Union. Placed with Garrett P. Galvin, Ennismore P.O., Lot 6 in 8th Con., Ennismore Tp. ? Stubborn, but improving, strong healthy lad, in good home, attending school, in 2nd part of 1st reader, full moral instruction being given."

The Parle children's mother, Mary Parle, arrived in Canada prior to 1889.

On September 21, 1889, at St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church, Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Mary Parle, 38, widow, born in Ireland to Patrick Taylor and Margaret Kearney; and Morrise McCarthy, 41, widower, laborer, born in Ireland to Bath Alen McCarthy and Mary Murray.

On June 23, 1907, at St. Marys Cathedral, Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Fredrick Charles Parle, 30, mechanic, born to John Parle and Mary Taylor; and Henrietta [Harrietta Orillia] Tyo, 31, mill hand, born to Stephen Tyo and Rose McFadden.

Fredrick and Harriet Tyo Parle had at least one daughter, Mary Parle, born May 4, 1900, stillborn.

His mother, Mary Parle died at the age of 54 on January 17, 1906, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

About 1910, the Parle childrens father, John Parle, father arrived in Canada. He died on May 20, 1920.

Harriett Tyo Parle, 39, housekeeper, died on April 16, 1918, at Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada, of pneumonia and heart failure. She is buried at St. Marys Cemetery, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

[POSSIBLE MATCH] On October 23, 1922, at Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Fred Parle, 43, widower, ship's carpenter, born in Dunlevan, Ireland, to John T. Parle and Mary C. Tyrell; and Margaret Hall, 44, born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, to John Hall and Elizabeth Dowd.
