I was fortunate enough to visit Niederstetten last year and on my travels found a story of a 'J Andreas GLOCK' who had an interest in firefighting and in 1842 made a leather bucket (named 'The Glock Bucket') which to this day is on display in the local fire station. I was actually allowed to take this bucket out and was photographed with it, an inscription on one side of the bucket reads 'J Andreas Glock 1842'. I would be interested to know if anybody else is aware of
