The RootsChat Reference Library
The RootsChat Reference Library is a collection of lists, catalogues and database projects
that can help you in your Family History researches.
More information about these projects, with tips and discussions, can be
found in various forum topics in the
Technical Help » Reference Library board.

The Database for Special Interest Groups (DBSIG)
Looking through various topics, we can see that there are often families involved in particular trades or
professions for several generations, who then tend to be in contact with others of the same trade.
Here you can search by surnames or locations, set up links to others in the database, and,
if you find common ancestors, you can add your own name as Researcher to records
submitted by others.
Read the
DBSIG Help-Page to get some ideas of what the database contains.

If you have a question for RootsChat, then it's more than likely that someone has an answer for you.
You can use the Search RootsChat button, at the top of every page, to find an answer,
but the the search engine is not very specific and you may have "too many" answers.
Try searching the Reference Library to see if answers to your questions can be found here ...
And if not, you can still try the RootsChat Search :)
