In 1887, Patrick Cassidy, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 129 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Patrick Cassidy, aged 10. From parish of Liverpool. Placed with Michael Keller, Lot 1, A. B. Woolwich Tp., Wessenburg P.O.?Untruthful at times, but improving, otherwise giving full satisfaction, in good home, and pleased with his place, attends school.

On February 9, 1931, at Kitchener Hospital, Patrick George Cassidy, 53, laborer, unmarried, born in Ireland to unknown parents, died of carcinoma of the stomach and cardiac failure. The informant was K. W. Martin, manager of the House of Refuge, who had no relation to the deceased.
