In 1901, Mabel Cassady, 9 years of age, was shown as an inmate, along with his sister, Arthur Cassady, 10, at a Home/Institution, run by Annie Farkin, matron, at 34 Springfield Terrace, Leeds, Yorkshire, England. (Source: 1901 Census of England; Class: RG13; Piece: 4224; Folio: 49; Page: 15.)

In 1905, Mabel Cassidy, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 52 children from Father Hudson's Homes, Catholic Emigration Association, 109 Shaw St., Liverpool, England, en route to St. George's Home, Hintonburg, Ottawa, Ontario and accompanied by Rev. Mother and Sister Evangeline. (Brother, Arthur Cassidy, 14, arrived in Canada on the Bavarian in 1905; and sister Lily Cassidy, 11, arrived in Canada on the Corsican in July 1909.)

In 1911, Mabel Cassidy, 18, was shown as a domestic to Jean and Valerie Robert of 397 Mountain, St. Antoine Ward, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her date of birth is shown as February 1893 and her immigration year as 1911.

A marriage registration was found in St. Patricks Catholic Church, Montreal, Quebec, Canada:
