Frederick was placed with Earl W. Reeds, Omemco, R.3, Opa, Victoria, Ontario, Canada.

A juvenile inspector reported [T-15422]:

HANCE, Frederick, 12, . . . 1921 Barnardo's, To Mt. Forest, Lindsay, Reaboro, Omemee "gone north to lumber camp."

On December 22, 1928, Frederick Hance, 20, labourer, returned to the United Kingdom on the ship Melita. He states his residence in the UK was Loudham Cottages, Amersham, Courham, Buckinghamshire, England, and that he intended to reside in Canada.
