Logging In

Once you have registered, or if you are returning to RootsChat, you can login to the site by clicking on the "login" button in the forum menu. Forum Navigations Buttons - Log in

If it says "Logout" you are already logged in.  This can happen if you've already logged in before and chosen to have RootsChat remember you.  This places a cookie on your system.  Once you choose "Login" you will be prompted for your user name and password.  If your username and password is correct you will be able to navigate RootsChat as an user, rather than a guest.

Remember: If you are having trouble logging on, remember that capitals and lower-case characters make a difference with usernames and passwords. Enter them in the same way as when you first registered.

If you have forgotten your RootsChat username or password, *click here*.
